Recommended to Upper YA- Adult because of some adult content

A fantasy romance that I ate up! I am a huge fan of angel stories and this one was just perfect for me. This story kept me wanting more and I couldn’t stop reading it until it was done. I am honest saying that I lost hours of sleep because of this book and it was worth it!
The story starts with a bang as we get introduced to the main characters during a life threatening accident. Kendra, the main character and a famous photographer, is saved by an angel and makes a deal with him; save the soul of her sexy doctor before they were both lost.
Kendra was a great character to read about. She made the story funny and come alive, as well as added some real emotion to it that made her seem more real. She struggles since she only has a week to convince her doctor, Adam, to believe in angels and God before they both lose their souls to a demon. Adam, the sexy doctor that I even fell for, was at first a stubborn hard headed guy that did everything to keep Kendra out of his life but that started to become impossible when he realized that he actually had feelings for her.
What made this book even more interesting was the fact that Kendra was sort of stuck in a love pentagon. It is the first time I read a story that has four different guys after the same girl. Having to convince the doctor and keep the other men from making things worse kept things interesting and made it exciting.
Another main character that I instantly loved was Kendra’s guardian angel Rhyan. An angel that wasn’t afraid to show real emotion to the woman he loved and he truly was a guardian angel when Kendra needed help the most. This story made me believe even more that there are angels watching over us; a story that touches the heart.
It gripped me from the start till the end and I recommend this to anyone that loves action, adventure, romance and angels. Fair warning; this isn’t for young readers because of the adult scenes and swearing. This isn’t PG 13 but I loved it nonetheless. A wonderful story written by a very talented author and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.
